Famous for the phrase let 100 flowers bloom, Mau is probably the greatest dictator. The 10 Yuan note, which bears his face, contains an image of a yellow rose.

Bucthers Broom for the Butcher of Uganda
Idi Amin Dada was dictator of Uganda from 1971-1979. Amin reportedly ate dissidents to his regime, or fed them to his pet crocodiles. Some of his titles were “Conqueror of the British Empire”, “President for Life”, and others. He banned all Asians from Uganda because the daughter of an important Asian family refused to marry him. He also claimed to be the King of Scotland, and apparently wrote love letters to Queen Elizabeth. He fled to Libya after the demise of his regime, then to Saudi Arabia, where he died in 2003.
What better than the National Flower for Scotland, the Thistle.

You say Kimjongilia, I say Kimilsungia
He had revolutionary parents, his birth was foretold by a swallow, the appearance of a double rainbow over Mount Paekdu, and a new star in the heavens. Who else but Korea's Kim Jong Il...
...and his Begonia.
Among other things he claimed that he invented the hamburger, and that he wass the greatest golfer in history. He built a city right on the border of North and South Korea, just to trick South Koreans into defecting. He attempted to rid Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, of short people, because he was angry about his height. Schoolchildren were taught that he never defecates. And, finally, his grand jewel of insanity, he had two South Korean directors kidnapped to kick-start North Korea’s film industry by forcing them to make a remake of Godzilla, only Communist. He claimed that North Korea is a paradise, where nobody ever experienced poverty, and where everybody leads a happy life. In real life, people are regularly tortured, and nearly all of them work in collective farms.
His father peerless character was also "fully reflected in the immortal flower" which is "blooming everywhere on the five continents.

What does one wear to the refugee camp?
Read about Sheikha Mozah here. If you live in London you are probably not more than a couple of miles from something her family owns. The soft power face of a repressive regime where 1000 migrant workers can die in a year, enjoying an opulent life-style while visiting the odd refugee camp for photo ops.
And here is her orchid.
I was bad then mad. An orchid for Madam 10%
An Orchid for the wife of Indonesia's dictator Suharto. The head of a family who managed to rip off staggering amounts of money and kill hundreds of thousands "reds" then escape punishment by claiming to be mad.

I should have been born an Empress...
Read about Japan's Emperor here. Amazingly the monarchy of Japan still have a male only rule.
This is the orchid dedicated to him.
